This year the year 5 and 6's went to Camp Kaitawa, but I went for my second time. There were some things that were different, like we did rock hopping around parts of Lake Waikaremoana.
My favourite part of camp was when we went kayaking because we grouped the other kayaks and we ran across them and jumped off at the end of it.
The funny part of camp was watching some kids doing the stupid challenge at Lake Waikareiti, they had to put their shoulders under the freezing cold water for 40 seconds and they got a chocolate bar.
This year we went though more caves than in 2015. My favourite cave was the last one, we had a rope and the cave went down.
Also on Thursday night, we did fear factor, we got blind folded and had to eat some food, we all did it, but at the end two people had to to do it and I got sour cream and chives.

Camp Omatua Reflection
Thinking back over the camp, what I most enjoyed was going to the river because going down the river in the tube we got to chill out.
Something funny that happened was
when we were in our cabin everyone was laughing I tried not to but I couldn't hold it in.
Something I have found out about myself is
That I got over my fear of being in the dark because I didn't like the dark when I came to camp.but with more people in the room it made me overcome my fear.
I really admired the way That Jayden help me get back to the stair where I was sitting. when I had a saw eye, because we both went down the slide and I went fast that I had my goggles on a I bang into him at the finish.
In the future, I would like to see
nothing to change
What was a challenging thing for you at camp? Bush bashing because I did not know where I was. we did not know where to put your hand because there was a lot of prickles.
